The nearest village of Altea la Vella is a 5-minute drive away or, for sports enthusiasts, you can reach it within half an hour on foot. It is small but has a supermarket, bakery, newspaper kiosk, pharmacy, bank, post office and a number of cozy coffee bars and good restaurants.
The nearest beach is a 5-minute drive away in La Olla, where you can snorkel, canoeing, windsurfing or sit down at one of the chiringuitos (beach bars) for a paella or delicious vino tinto.
Altea
The beautiful white town of Altea is about a 10-minute drive away. In addition to shops, there are also many restaurants and bars at the seaside. In the evening, the picturesque old center higher up becomes one bustling terrace when all the restaurants place their tables outside and the steep streets are flooded with tourists. You are assured of lots of fun until late in the evening.
You can enjoy beautiful walking and cycling in the immediate area. A short drive away are destinations such as the Algar waterfalls, the eagle village of Guadelest, the Jalon Valley, but also the beautiful coast of Benissa and Javea. If desired, Calpe and Benidorm offer plenty of entertainment.
Alicante airport is a 50-minute drive away. Finally, Valencia can also be reached within 1.5 hours.
